Three Months

Where does time get too? I can't believe that it's been one day shy of 3 months since I've even posted here. Life has gotten crazy, that is for sure. Chayton started school and taking him to school and picking him up takes up some time each day. By the time we get home and I feed Cailyn, she is then ready to nurse and go down for a nap and then it's time to clean. UGH! It never ends. I tell you most days looks like a toy bomb has gone off in this place. I pick up toys more times a day than I care to count, what's bad is Cailyn at 14 months old can make more of a mess than her 5 year old brother can. My girl is a mess and I love every little tid bit of her.

Both kids had great birthdays, Chayton on September 15 (party wasn't until 2 weeks later though, cause daddy was out of town) and Cailyn on October 16th. I cannot believe both of my babies had major milestone birthdays.......a 5 year old and a 1 year old. Time has gone so fast.

School is going well for Chayton, although he has been sick quite frequently and has already learned to play the I don't feel so good line in the mornings, sorry to say, it doesn't work 99% of the time and it's off to school he goes. He's done really well and his teacher just has rave reviews on how well he does. Wish that same little boy came home to us in the afternoons. I get the MOSTER CHILD, they get the ANGEL! Ah well, I'd rather he misbehave at home then in school.

Let's see, what else has happened in the last 3 months.......

We've all been passing around a darned bug for the last month here. Chayton was just briefly sick, thankfully. But, James has been sick for the last 2.5 weeks and Cailyn finally got it on Thursday and has been sick with it coming from both ends. We are taking her to the peds. later to get checked since it has been going on since early Thursday morning. She spent her first Christmas in ICU, I don't want her there on her second one too. So, we are being cautious, don;t want her getting dehydrated. Now, I have it. Of course, mommy would get it at the same time Cailyn does. It's not easy taking care of me and Cailyn at the same time, but a Mommy's Got To Do What A Mommy's Got To Do!

I guess that is pretty much everything that's been happening here. I've got some pics of the kids birthday parties to post later, but I need to get going. Daddy and Chayton will be getting home soon. James has had to be in charge of taking Chayton to school and picking him up the last 3 days. I've not wanted to drag Cailyn out while she is throwing up and I just didn't feel like getting out myself this morning. I guess, I may have to break down and let him start riding the school bus, I still have reservations about that though. "Thinking, Thinking, Thinking.................."
