Practice Makes Perfect

Well, after sleeping in and not having much of a routine really. I've basically been a child led parent (following their routine and how how they function), we are starting a routine. This morning mommy got up with daddy had my shower and then we woke Chayton & Cailyn up. Then daddy left for work. Then we had breakfast, brushed our teeth and got the 2 monkeys dressed. We did pretty good on our timing for the most part we just have to get Chayton up just a little earlier. I'm thinking that maybe James should get him up while I am showering and let him wake up some before breakfast. He's starting to get a bit excited now I think about starting school. He knows he will make new friends and that mommy will be there for him at the end of the day. I just don't like the fact that kindergarten is ALL day. I just think that is too long for them, but that's just my opinion.

Anyways, we are just chilling right now. Cailyn is playing and Chayton is getting ready to watch Magic School Bus. It is his absolute FAVORITE show. And he learns while watching it and doesn't even realize it, which makes it even better.

Well, time to scoot. Gotta check my email and then clean a bit before the kids and I have playtime.
