Last night we went to kindergarten. Well, sort of. It was Meet the Teacher Night for all of the kindergarten kids. Chayton did really well and didn't have one moment of hesitation, mommy is the one that got all teary-eyed. He met his teacher, Ms. Heishman and the teacher's aide. There were 2 there last night, and I'm not really sure if they are both her aides or what. Guess we will find out next week.
He got to ride a school bus (James, Cailyn & I rode with him). He thought that was cool, cause he isn't gonna get to ride the bus (unless something happens to my van -- knock on wood it doesn't).
After riding the bus we went back in to his classroom for a bit, cause it was so crowded at first we left to ride the bus and give it time to clear out a bit. He was the last kid to leave the room, he didn't want to go. He was having fun exporing everything and finding his cubby (for his backpack, coat, etc).
It is so hard to believe that in just 5 more days we will not just be practicing getting up, we will be doing this for real and we will have a full fledged kindergartener. :(

How is he liking kindergarten now that he has officially started?
Kaylee is loving pre-K. Not so much the first few days, but now she wants to go everyday, even on the weekends.
I can't believe they are turning 5 already. What kind of party are you having for Chayton this year? Kaylee wants a Little Mermaid party and she wants to invite her whole class. I'm thinking maybe we'll do it, but definitely not at home. LOL They only turn 5 once, right? lol
