7 Months Old & Another First!

Today, has pretty much been a bad day. Before lunch time today Chayton had been in time out about 6 times and Cailyn was just slightly grumpy. After James came home at lunchtime today, the kids and I sat down and watched a cartoon and then mommy made an executive decision we were gonna take a nap. So, off to the bedroom we go. Chayton wasn't very happy about it, cause I wouldn't let him lie there watching cartoons but after a bit all of us fell asleep. I can't believe I napped for almost 2 hours and the kids napped for almost 3. Of course though, Chayton is still wound up and raring to go but that is okay, cause he is anxious for daddy to get home, cause he wants to tell him something.

Cailyn's fussiness took a quick turn this evening after dinner time. I could NOT put her down and walk away from her. She was very determined that mommy hold her all evening, but I had Amish Bread in the oven and I had to put her down. Well, as I typically do when she fusses. I put mu finger in her mouth to massage her gums, imagine my surprise to feel this sharp little snag. I had to feel it twice and then have a peek just to make sure. Today, she is 7 months old & her first tooth popped through the gum. No wonder she was cranky. She's not shown any signs that she was cutting teeth, guess she's gonna follow in Chayton's footsteps again with that. I gave her a does of infant tylenol to help her with the pain and am hoping it helps her sleep. I can't believe it.......my baby has her FIRST TOOTH! (*SNIFF*SNIFF*) Chayton is so excited, he got to feel it too and wants to tell everyone that sissy has a tooth.
